About Untethered Inc.

A Blend of Artistry and Engineering

With experience spanning numerous material mediums and various design & structural challenges, Untethered Inc. and its sister companies offer a seamless transition from a project’s inception through its completion. We love to learn and to be confronted with original ideas and unique situations that push us into new territory.

Not once have we been hired to produce a product or service. Rather, Alaskans commission us because they know that we come to the table to trade our best for their best, and we have a track record of standing behind our work long after we walk away.

Who We are

Untethered Inc. was established for those who pursue a creative slant towards life’s opportunities. Our logo represents the act of uprooting what already exists and moving towards another possibility. Like us, our clients tend to be seeking a unique and long-term approach towards accomplishing their goals, and we enjoy being given the leeway to brainstorm and execute creative solutions. We believe that following convention and compromising on one’s values leads to mediocrity, and when asked what option we choose, our default is d. none of the above.

Our Mission

We are a small company driven by the desire to push forward into the unknown and develop ourselves as individuals. We focus on serving those in our niche with competence and effectiveness, and we strive to create a customized experience for discriminating clients in the market for one-off projects. With custom in-house log & timber handcrafting, metal fabrication, concrete component casting, excavation, frame to finish carpentry, and full-service construction team, we offer a one-stop experience for those in the market for a land and dwelling development project. We have partnered with subcontractors, vendors, and co-workers in possession of values and competence that we support. From planning to finish, we concentrate on quality and long-term results. We have a track record of standing behind our work product since 2007 and do so because we are committed to doing things the best way that we know how to do them, the first time, every time.

Our Vision

Looking towards the future, we are dedicated to refining our skillsets and methods to execute our craft in a way that best serves our clients’ interests, while maintaining adherence to the standards and values that form our foundation. Alongside our skills forged through repetition, we intend to pursue that which pushes us outside of our comfort zone, thus ensuring growth. We seek to revitalize the effectiveness and interest in utilizing natural materials in construction by providing first-hand examples of how the sculpting of land and proper building design lend towards projects that maintain structural integrity and aesthetic appeal for the long-term.

Our Clients

Our best-fit clients are a lot like us – they’re not attracted to out-of-the-box designs or a ready-made way of doing things. They have been successful in their professional lives, know quality when they see it, and are not swayed by gimmicks and flamboyant claims.

We don’t view our projects as a one-time service that is a perfect fit for everyone. We are typically on a project for 18-24 months, and as such, compatibility with our clients with regard to vision, personality, and values is crucial.
